Cl-ear Ear Relief Ear Drops effectively soothe and reduce ear pain, itching and inflammation of the outer ear canal.

These specially formulated drops contain Glycerol, which has a soothing effect and an anti-inflammatory action which reduces swelling in the ear canal (by removing water) thus alleviating associated pain, and Lidocaine, a surface anaesthetic to further reduce ear pain.

When to Use:

Use to soothe and reduce ear pain, itching and inflammation of the outer ear canal, which can be caused by day to day factors including :

– Regular exposure to water from activities such as swimming

– Prolonged wearing of ear pods and headphones

– Ear wax build up

– Some chemicals in shampoos and shower gels which can damage the natural membrane protecting the outer ear canal.

Adults, the elderly and children from 5 years of age (note children should receive a medical diagnosis before using).

How to Use:

➤ Tilt your head to one side with the affected ear facing up.

➤ Avoid touching the ear with the dropper and do not put the dropper into the ear canal.

➤ Drop 2 drops into the ear.

➤ Keep your head tilted for a few minutes so that the drops can flow into the ear canal.

➤ Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean tissue.

➤ Plug the ear lightly with cotton wool after application if required.

➤ Use the drops three times a day for up to 3 days.

➤ If there are no improvements after 3 days or if you feel worse, consult your doctor.

➤ It is necessary to protect the ear with cotton wool when used in children.

How do Cl-ear Express Ear Drops work?

Cl-ear Express Ear Drops contain Glycerol to gently soften the wax, and Urea Hydrogen Peroxide, which releases oxygen to break up earwax, making it easier to remove. As the earwax begins to soften, before it is removed, it can begin to swell slightly, which might give a feeling of fullness in the ear, temporarily affect hearing, and occasionally, can cause slight dizziness or affect balance. A temporary bubbling sensation may occur. Should these symptoms persist or worsen, or if you experience any other side effects or burning, stop using Cl-ear Express Ear Drops and seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
How to use Cl-ear Express Ear Drops

• Tilt your head to one side and squeeze the bottle to drop 3-6 drops of Cl-ear Express Ear Drops in the ear. • Keep your head tilted for a few minutes to allow the drops to soak into the earwax. • Keep the drops in the ear for a few minutes, rinse with lukewarm water to remove the remaining earwax. • Wipe away any excess drops from the outer ear using tissue or cotton wool. • Repeat once or twice daily for the removal of earwax, or once a week to help prevent the earwax build up. • Treatment usually takes 3-6 days, after which an improvement should be noticed. Do not use Cl-ear Express Ear Drops if: • your ear drum has been damaged or perforated, you have an infection or any problems with your ears (eczema, itching sensation, dermatitis and any other local cutaneous (skin) problem). • you are sensitive to any ingredients listed on the carton or label. If you are using any other medication in the ear, please ask your doctor or pharmacist before using Cl-ear Express Ear Drops.
Who can use Cl-ear Express Ear Drops?
